Working in a large district last week, I was moved by the level of frustration school leaders are experiencing. They have a ‘charge’ for transforming their schools, being innovative, engaging technologies and ensuring students’ success on end of year high stakes tests. At the same time, the superintendent who led the innovation direction has left, there is sporadic infrastructure advancement without a vision or known plan, there are the haves and have nots district-wide, there are not known funds allocated for education technology, and there is anxiety around consequences when students don’t achieve well on end of year tests. How could I possibly help?
