There were a couple of Internet glitches, and some teachers had trouble signing on, but that didn’t dampen their enthusiasm Monday as they collected the iPads that will become their primary instructional tools for the new school year in Los Angeles…

Jim Harmon‘s insight:

This will be a major test for the iPad in one of the largest (urban) school districts in the United States. It all comes down to teacher buy-in and embedded professional development.
