Minecraft winning over not just teens — but also teachers

Teachers are beginning to use Minecraft to teach concepts in math, science and the humanities. They also learn real world skills, like perseverance.

Jim Harmon‘s insight:

My 16 year old son, who like many of his generation, plays minecraft and watches many of the cottage videos on YouTube that center on the game. I often wonder what the attraction is and if such an obsession is healthy. I believe this is cause for further study and at the very least gives one pause to consider the positive impact of gaming on education.
